Nerja Waterfall, an extraordinary paradise of crystal clear waters
Maro Waterfall (or Nerja Falls) is a beautiful waterfall located in the town of Maro, near Nerja in the province of Málaga, southern Spain. It is located within the Sierras de Tejeda, Almijara and Alhama Natural Park and is one of the most popular natural attractions in Nerja.

You can reach the Waterfall from the beaches of Nerja or from the beaches of Maro.
Get to the waterfall from Maro
Go to Maro, it can be accessed by car from Nerja or Málaga on the A-7 highway. Once in Maro. Park the vehicle in a public parking lot and walk to Maro beach. At Maro Beach you can rent a kayak or go in your own kayak to the Maro Waterfall.
Get from Nerja to the Maro waterfall
You can go on an excursion, rent a kayak, in your own kayak, or any other means by sea. There are also guided tours available from Nerja that include transport to the waterfall.

Where to park in Maro?
For parking, parking spaces can be found near the entrance to the Maro Beach trail. It is advisable to arrive early, especially in the summer months, as the parking lot can fill up quickly.

Sometimes the waterfall has no water. If you want to take a trip to the Maro waterfall, we recommend asking beforehand.
