Car parks in Nerja
In Nerja you can find numerous public car parks. It is easy to park all year round. In summer it is a bit more difficult to park. In summer we recommend you go walking.
Verano Azul Parking
This car park is located in the Verano Azul park, next to Barco de Chanquete. In the blue summer we find an outdoor paid parking area.
Parking Plaza España
Balcón de Europa underground car park. It is located below Plaza España, it is a guarded and paid parking. It is the perfect car park to park the car if we visit the Balcón de Europa or go to a central hotel such as the Hotel Balcón de Europa, Hotel Plaza Cavana, Hotel Toboso or La Puerta de Nerja.
Parking Huertos de Carabeo
It is a parking lot between calle carabeo and calle los huertos. Its name is Parking de Carabeo due to its proximity to Carabeo beach and Carabeo street. This parking is paid, but it is not guarded. It is a dirt and outdoor parking lot. This car park has long-stay vouchers.
Parking Playa de Maro
Parking next to the Maro square, below the Balcon de Maro apartments. It is next to the road to go down to Playa de Maro. This car park is free during the year. And payment on some specific dates. In summer it can be paid parking due to the large influx of people and cars in the area.
Mercadona Parking
The two Mercadona supermarkets offer free parking for hours. We have a few hours of free parking if we make purchases over 18 euros.
Parking Rio Chillar
It is a free car park in Nerja. Free parking on certain dates of the year. In summer and high season it can be a paid parking. (2 euros for parking). Unlimited hours. The parking is in a large esplanade next to the chillar river, below the Mercadona supermarket. Next to the plot of the new Nerja Health Center.
Parking Playazo
We can find several parking areas in Playazo. All areas are esplanades of land enabled for parking. The beach parking lot has access from the national highway. And another parking lot next to the Varaderos de Nerja. And next to the restaurants on El Playazo beach.
Parking Nerja Cave
If you are going to visit the Cueva de Nerja or the Cave park, you can park for free in the urbanizations before arriving and in Maro. You can also pay for the parking of the cave.
If you hire, book the Nerja cave train. (The Nerja tourist train). You don’t need parking. The train will take you to the Nerja caves and pick you up afterwards. There are several trains running all day. You can see the schedules at the train stop in the cave.

En Nerja puedes encontrar numerosos aparcamientos públicos. Es facil aparcar durante todo el año. En verano es un poco mas dificil aparcar. En verano te recomendamos ir caminando.
Parking Verano Azul
Este parking esta ubicado en el parque Verano Azul, junto al Barco de Chanquete. En verano azul encontramos una zona de aparcamiento de pago al aire libre.
Parking Plaza España
Aparcamiento subterráneo del Balcón de Europa. Se encuentra debajo de plaza España, es un parking vigilado y de pago. Es el parking perfecto para aparcar el coche si visitamos el Balcón de Europa o vamos algún hotel céntrico como el Hotel Balcón de Europa, Hotel Plaza Cavana, Hotel Toboso o La puerta de Nerja.
Parking Huertos de Carabeo
Es un aparcamiento entre la calle carabeo y la calle los huertos. Su nombre es Parking de Carabeo por su proximidad a la playa de Carabeo y la calle de Carabeo. Este aparcamiento es de pago, pero no esta vigilado. Es un aparcamiento de tierra y al aire libre. Este aparcamiento cuenta con bonos para larga estancia.
Parking Playa de Maro
Aparcamiento junto a la plaza de Maro, debajo de los apartamentos Balcon de Maro. Está junto a la carretera para bajar a la Playa de Maro. Este aparcamiento es gratuito durante el año. Y de pago en algunas fechas puntuales. En verano puede ser parking de pago debido a la gran afluencia de personas y coches en la zona.
Parking Mercadona
Los dos supermercados Mercadona ofrecen estacionamiento gratuito por horas. Tenemos algunas horas de estacionamiento gratis si hacemos compras superior a 18 euros.
Parking Rio Chillar
Se trata de un parking gratis de Nerja. Parking gratuito en determinadas fechas del año. En verano y temporada alta puede ser un parking de pago. (2 euros por aparcar). Sin limite de horario. El parking está en una gran explanada junto al rio chillar, debajo del supermercado Mercadona. Junto a la parcela del nuevo centro de Salud de Nerja.
Parking Playazo
Podemos encontrar varias zonas de aparcamiento en el Playazo. Todas las zonas son explanadas de tierra habilitadas de parking. El parking del playazo tiene acceso desde la carretera nacional. Y otro parking junto a los Varaderos de Nerja. Y junto a los restaurantes de la playa El Playazo.
