Like every year, the town of Maro once again celebrates its traditional Chestnut and Sweet Potato Festival. This festival has taken on special relevance due to the set of activities that are celebrated. It is the festival popularly known as MAROWEEN.
The Maro Celebration Board has presented the program of activities for HALLOWEEN 2022 in Maro. This terrifying and fun festival for the whole family will take place on Monday, October 31, 2022. Starting at 5:00 p.m. in the afternoon.
On this festival of the dead & Halloween 2022 “The streets of Maro will be filled with colorful costumes, pumpkins, skeletons, mummies and other decorative elements. There will be entertainment and workshops, dances, a craft and gastronomy market, and performances by the group Electroduendes, Carmen Soto and Dj Toulalan”.

From here we encourage all neighbors and visitors, children and adults, to enjoy the party and the music in a terrifying atmosphere. Maroween is the perfect place to prepare some costumes and go out to enjoy the sweet potato and chestnut festival. A day full of activities, fun and terror awaits us.
As part of the organized activities, a passage of horrors has been prepared, which will be located in the parking lot next to the Plaza de la Iglesia, a terrifying parade with the charanga of The Crumbs, the tasting of chestnuts and sweet potatoes, trick points or deal spread around the town where candies and costume contests, photography and facades will be distributed.
