The last car park is at 2250 meters above sea level. From there we have about a 45-minute walk along an easy road to the viewpoint.

From here you have a fantastic view of the highest mountains of Andalusia and the Mediterranean coast on one side and the Sierra Nevada on the other. We have the summit of Mulhacen almost at our fingertips. Everything changes in the mountains: the nature, the air, the view of the world. A great place, great mountains. And at the foot of the highest peaks, the magnificent Alpujarra.

We’re off to the mountains and the Alpujarra from Nerja and the surrounding area in the next one. If anyone feels like joining, you are welcome, I will send you the details. It takes 1 hour 40 minutes to get from Nerja (from your hotel/apartment) to the Sierra Nevada, 20 minutes less from Almunecar.

Enjoy a day at the Sierra Nevada ski resort. Day trips departing from Nerja and Almuñecar. The bus will pick you up in Nerja for your trip to Sierra Nevada.
