The British press has made a list of the best holiday destinations in Spain. And Andalusia is always among the best destinations. In a list of the 20 most beautiful towns to spend your holidays there are 4 towns in Andalusia.
First of all, we find Sanlúcar de Barrameda, in Cádiz. It was the Spanish Capital of Gastronomy in 2022, it is located in front of the Doñana National Park and next to the mouth of the Guadalquivir River. Near Sanlucar we can visit the Ducal Palace of Medina Sidonia, a Renaissance building declared a Historical-Artistic Monument in 1978 with beautiful patios and gardens and unmissable views of the Guadalquivir.
Tarifa, this is the first position on The Telegraph’s list, the third is occupied by another town in Cádiz, Tarifa. A primarily summer enclave, but throughout the year it is filled with surfers willing to take advantage of its beaches.
Estepona (Malaga). The third Andalusian town that appears on the list of the 20 most beautiful towns in Spain is Estepona, in Malaga. We can visit its beautiful Botanical Garden, walk through its historic center full of white houses decorated with colorful flowers, visit its beautiful beaches or take one of its hiking routes. Also visit nearby towns such as Marbella, Mijas or Sotogrande.
Nerja (Malaga). The last one, also from Malaga, is Nerja. And what can we say about Nerja? Visit the Balcón de Europa, discover the city with the Nerja Lovers tours, enjoy a brilliant sunset on one of its beautiful beaches, walk along the Chillar River… In short, Nerja is an incredible paradise.
