Nerja closes the access to the Chillar

Nerja closes the access to the Chillar River path as a precautionary measure due to the high risk of fires to stop the overcrowding of the area. All this has been carried out after the reports of Civil Protection, the Provincial Consortium of Firefighters of Malaga and the Seprona of the Civil Guard.

The chillar river receives hundreds of visitors every day and access is expected to be regulated by means of a control carried out by an active tourism company, as is the case with the Caminito del Rey.

The closure of the chillar river will be maintained as a precautionary measure and as long as the situation of high risk of forest fire continues.
