Un hermoso pueblo blanco en la Axarquía

Competa está Ubicado en la comarca de la Axarquía de la provincia de Málaga en Andalucía, Competa es una ciudad-municipio a unos 638 metros sobre el nivel del mar y con un poco menos de 4000 habitantes.

La Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de la Asunción

Originaria del siglo XVI, es un templo que atesora en su interior una hermosa pintura de la Asunción, obra del destacado artista Francisco Hernández y que le da nombre a la iglesia. Lo más llamativo es su impresionante torre de cerca de 30 metros de altura de color ocre que domina todo a su alrededor.

El Paseo de las Tradiciones

Sin duda es una de las atracciones más visitadas por los turistas. Se trata de un hermoso paseo fundado en 2009 compuesto de azulejos blancos y de terracota que sigue la senda de lo que Enel pasado era el antiguo mercado del pueblo.

A uno de los extremos del paseo se puede admirar una enorme cantidad de mosaicos ilustrados que relatan la historia del pueblo y su fuerte herencia árabe.

La Plaza Vendimia

Es una de las plazas más famosas de Competa dedicada en exclusividad a exaltar las virtudes vinícolas del pueblo por medio de tres mosaicos hechos de cerámica donde se representa el proceso de elaboración del afamado vino moscatel desde la vendimia hasta el pisado de las uvas.

El Mirador de Gaona

En la entrada del pueblo por carretera los visitantes se toparán con uno de los lugares más interesantes del pueblo, un mirador diseñado por Placi de Gaona, un artista de la comunidad, y el sitio se ha vuelto muy famoso, no solo porque ofrece unas estupendas vistas de sus alrededores, como las Sierras de Tejeda y la Maroma, sino porque Gaona se inspiró en la obra de Gaudí al diseñar el mirador.

¿Dónde comer en Competa?

Otro de los grandes orgullos de Competa es sin duda su abundante oferta gastronómica que se traduce en una serie de excelentes restaurantes internacionalmente reconocidos.

Entre los mejores están El Pámpano, El Acebuchal y el Cortijo Paco, los tres están especializados en comida internacional y mediterránea donde ofrecen desayunos, almuerzos, cenas y brunch en áreas amplias y cómodas donde los comensales pueden disfrutar de hermosas vistas del pueblo.

Otro restaurante recomendado es la Taberna Hierbabuena, un lugar muy singular e interesante que se especializa en una carta gastronómica mucho más exótica donde abundan platos marroquíes, comida hindú y una espectacular cata con más de 20 variedades distintas de té e infusiones típicas de Asia y África del norte.

Debido a que se trata de un pueblo pequeño la oferta de hospedaje en Competa se compone casi en su totalidad de casas rurales u hostales, casi todos ellos emprendimientos familiares atendidos por sus propios dueños.

¿Dónde aparcar gratis en Competa?

Existen dos áreas públicas de estacionamiento, el Parking Municipal y el del Centro, ambos en lugares muy estratégicos, pero es importante acotar que son pocas plazas y suele llenarse rápido, por lo que es conveniente tomar sus precauciones.

¿Cómo llegar a Competa?

Una de las virtudes de este hermoso pueblo es que cuenta con un trayecto fácil. Posee una línea directa de autobuses desde Vélez-Málaga de apenas una hora de duración que atraviesa la carretera A-7, llega hasta las inmediaciones del Baviera Golf Club y luego toma el desvío hacia Algarrobo y Sayalonga.

Como llegar a competa desde Nerja: Es muy facil llegar en coche. Coger direccion Torrox y desde Torrox puedes subir por la carretera. Te llevará unos 30/40 minutos llegar en coche desde Nerja.

¿Qué hacer en Competa?

Debido a su topografía y ubicación, Competa es ideal para disfrutar del entorno natural visitando el Parque natural de Sierra Tejeda o dar un paseo hacia Canillas de la Albaida.

Allí podrá disfrutar de sus hermosas montañas, hacer una excursión por sus alrededores y conocer los senderos que forman la Gran Senda de Málaga con espectaculares vistas de toda la región, en especial de su topografía.

Festividades en Competa

Los Apartamentos Centurion de Nerja estan ubicados en pleno centro de Nerja. Edificio con apartamentos turisticos de 1 habitacion. Apartamentos pequeños con cocina, baño privado, salon y habitacion. Todos los apartamentos estan diseñados para 2 o 3 personas.

Estos apartamentos tienen vistas al interior (los apartamentos mas tranquilos). Y apartamentos con vistas a la calle principal y con balcon. (Estos tienen vistas a la calle San Miguel).

Los apartamentos tienen una terraza grande en la planta alta del edificio.

Los apartamentos Centurion tienen una fantastica terraza al aire libre en la parte alta del edificio. Todos los viajeros pueden disfrutar de las instalaciones. En la terraza puedes encontrar mesas y sillas para subir nuestro cafe o comida. Y tambien tumbonas y parasoles para disfrutar y tomar el sol. Poder disfrutar de la terraza durante el dia es una increible idea.

Ubicación de los Apartamentos Centurion

La ubicacion es perfecta, cerca de todo. Se puede ir a todos los lugares andando. Esta ubicado cerca de la Estacion de autobuses de Nerja y la plaza cantarero. Es ideal para llegar en bus. Ya que estos apartamentos estan a solo 200 metros de la estacion de autobuses de Nerja. Tambien a solo unos metros de la parada de taxis.

El supermercado Mercadona está en frente del apartamento. Esto es fantástico, porque podemos comprar siempre en el Mercadona.
