The Tronillos Procession in Nerja

The procession will begin at half past four in the afternoon from the Church of El Salvador with the blessing of the parish priest, Antonio Jesús Carrasco. The processional route will be: Paseo Balcón de Europa, Calle Puerta del Mar, Calle Pintada, Calle de la Cruz, Calle Ánimas, Calle Granada, Plaza Cavana and Calle Carmen to the Church of El Salvador.  The procession of the Tronillos of Nerja is a beautiful tradition of our Holy Week in which the boys and girls of Nerja and Maro parade with their thrones and images made by themselves.

PALM SUNDAY

In the HERMITAGE OF NTRA. SRA. FROM LAS ANGUSTIAS:

11:30 in the morning: Blessing of Palms and Branches at the door of the Hermitage of the Virgin of Las Angustias and departure in Procession through Plaza de la Ermita, Angustias, Pintada, Puerta del Mar and Balcón de Europa.
