The community of Nerja celebrates Tourism Day this Friday. This event promises a day full of activities and recognition in honor of those who have left a mark or helped the tourist development of Nerja.
Tribute will be paid to outstanding contributors to local tourism by granting the titles of Honorary Tourist and Tourism Ambassador. People whose efforts have significantly boosted the projection and promotion of Nerja as a first-class tourist destination.
The athlete Maria Perez, two-time world champion at the recent World Athletics Championships held in Budapest, will be named Tourist of Honor of Nerja.
Afterwards we can also see cultural exhibitions and recreational activities, we will also have the opportunity to immerse ourselves in the richness and diversity of local culture.
